Profile: Burleson Chamber of Commerce

We are one of the fastest growing Chambers in the United States and Canada. Our growth is attributed to a wide variety of benefits, as well as community partnerships.

It seems that the Burleson Area Chamber of Commerce is one that accepts nothing but 1st in everything they do. In 2002, as in 1998, we were awarded the prestigious National Chamber of the Year by the National Association for Membership Development. We have been the only Chamber in the United States to have ever won this award twice.

The Chamber excells in the areas of Highest Net Gain in Membership Dollars, Non-Dues Income, Highest Total New Membership Dollars, Retention and Highest Net Gain in Members.

This was the first time that a qualifier of the award was in the top 5 of all the other categories. We made history, and we will continue to "Make It Happen"! In 1999 we qualified again for the Award for Excellence but because of the rule that a chamber cannot win two consecutive years, we did not take home the award but would have if it had not been for that rule. In 2000, we qualified again for the third year in a row!

We accepted the honor of 1st Runner-Up in the Nation - again excelling in the 5 categories. In 2001, we qualified in the TOP 10 for National Chamber of the Year. And in 2002, we won the highest honor again! National Chamber of the Year Award of Excellence for 2002-2003! Way to go BACC!
