Job Description
Account Underwriter (Carrollton, TX). Collect & analyze insurance applicant information to conduct policy risk assessments. Verify accuracy of information & advise on excessive risks. Obtain quote rates. Review records to determine amount of insurance in force. Apply policy rating to ensure safe & profitable distribution of risks. Identify insurance coverage recommendations. Review insurance claims against policy terms. Requirements: Bachelor's degree or its foreign educational equivalent in a business, science or engineering discipline plus 2 years experience in job offered or in an insurance-related occupation involving analysis of insurance risk, endorsements, audits & claims.
