MRO Specialist II

Canadian Solar U.S. Module Manufacturing Corporation is seeking an MRO Specialist II for its Mesquite, TX office.

Job Duties: Conduct comprehensive analysis of Maintenance, Repair, and Operation (MRO) procurement strategies, identifying and implementing improvements to ensure alignment with production goals and cost objectives. Manage the end-to-end MRO supply chain from supplier selection and negotiation to inventory control and performance analysis, ensuring uninterrupted production operations. Collaborate closely with the engineering and production departments to forecast future MRO needs based on production plans and equipment lifecycle analysis. Negotiate contracts with suppliers and service providers, focusing on terms that ensure optimal cost, quality, and delivery conditions for MRO goods and services. Utilize advanced analytics to monitor and evaluate supplier performance, implementing corrective actions to meet quality and delivery benchmarks. Lead sustainability initiatives within the MRO supply chain, promoting the adoption of green procurement practices and contributing to the company's sustainability goals. Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members, enhancing their skills in supply chain management, negotiation, and analytics.

Education Requirement: Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field 

Experience Requirements: Two (2) years of experience as an MRO Specialist, Supply Chain Supervisor, Logistics Specialist, or a related occupation

Two (2) years of experience in each of the following:

" Production planning

" Procurement and supplier management for manufacturing equipment

" Inventory management of MRO spare parts

" Vendor relationship management

One (1) year of experience in each of the following:

" Lean manufacturing principles

" Data analysis for spare parts optimization

" Equipment spare parts for solar PV manufacturing 

" CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems)
