Job Description
Principal IT Software Engineer (Henry Schein Inc., Fort Worth, TX): Define, dvlp, test, analyze & maintain new complex s/ware applications. Write, code & test complex applications & reports. Dsgn, dvlp, modify, debug & implmt short- & long-term solutions to IT needs through new & existing applications, systems architecture, n/work systems & applications infrastructure. Reqmts: Bach's or foreign equiv deg in Comp Sci, Comp Info Systems, Mgmt Info Systems, Engg (any field), Math, or closely rltd field; + 5 yrs of progressive exp in position offered or rltd occupation. Must have 5 yrs of exp in: RPG, RPG-ILE, CL, SQL, AS/400 environments, DDM, DB2 D/base, XML, FTP, SFTP, & MQ; supporting business-critical production environment; working w/ distribution business systems & warehouse mgmt s/ware; working w/ change mgmt tools/systems; translating Business reqmts to IT Systems reqmts; working w/ offshore teams & multi-location teams; & project estimation, agile methodologies, managing backlogs & sprints. 3 yrs of exp in: Web services; integrating application systems w/ iSeries; reverse engg & documenting legacy application; & data migration from legacy application. Must report to co. office in Fort Worth, TX 2 days/wk. May work from home 3 days/wk w/in commuting distance of Fort Worth, TX.
