Mesquite Modules Corporation is seeking a Specialist II, Planning for its Mesquite, TX office. Job Duties: Responsible for the overall material and inventory control on production, ensuring a smooth and efficient production process by managing the flow of materials and supplies required for manufacturing operations. Responsible for the implementation of SAP/MES process, MO reconciliation, and daily material picking list release. Manage production materials to help drive continuous improvement in material inventory accuracy, consumption rates, scrap rates and repair rates. Monitor and track inventory levels of raw materials, components, and finished goods. Oversee the receiving process for incoming materials and verify the quality and quantity against work orders. Collaborate with production teams to deliver materials to the production floor in a timely manner. Anticipate material requirements and proactively address any potential shortages or delays. Implement efficient material handling procedures to minimize waste and damage. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of inventory levels, material transactions, and supplier information. Generate reports on material usage, consumption, and cost for management review. Work closely with the procurement and finance departments to identify cost-saving opportunities and implement strategies to optimize material utilization. Ensure that all incoming materials meet quality standards and specifications. Resolve any material-related quality issues in collaboration with the quality control team. Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance material management efficiency. Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while handling and storing materials. Promote a safe work environment and report any safety hazards or incidents. Education Requirement: Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Information Technology and Management, Business Intelligence and Analytics, or a related field. Experience Requirements: One (1) year of experience in each of the following: • Using ERP, MRP, or Warehouse Management Systems such as SAP or WMS for material tracking, order processing, inventory control, or production coordination
• Coordinating with sales, warehouse, production, or quality control teams to resolve material shortages, delivery delays, or scheduling conflicts
• Preparing operational or planning reports using Microsoft Excel including data analysis, pivot tables, formulas, and structured reporting
• Analyzing operational or logistics data, including forecasting volume, tracking material flow, or evaluating workflow efficiency
• Supply chain operations, logistics planning, inventory control, material planning, or production coordination
