Job Description
Tower Technician Details: MasTec Services Company Inc, New Braunfels, TX & various unanticipated locations throughout the USA Work at construction sites to: Climb towers & ladders up to 500 feet & carry up to 50 lbs of eqpmt; Erect monopoles, self-support, & guyed towers; Install new carriers on new build & existing towers for AT&T; Perform transmission line & installation of foam/air dielectric coaxial, hardline, & elliptical waveguide. Perform installation of cell site foundations, grounding, & conduits, w/ electrical installations. Provide tech'l guidance to less exp'd technicians Must have HS dipl or foreign equiv +1 yr exp in the job offered. Valid U.S. driver's license (no violations or suspensions w/in 3 yrs) & a current DOT CMV medical card reqd. 100% travel to construction sites to various unanticipated locations w/in the US. Travel is inherent to the nature of this occupation.
