Job Description

Title:Parts Manager (LU)
Paceline Collision Centers, a leading provider of collision repair services is seeking a qualified candidate to fill the position of Parts Manager. The Parts Manager is responsible for purchasing, ordering, receiving, storing, distributing, returning and reconciling all parts for the shop. Must be willing and able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as necessary and possess a valid Texas Drivers license and a safe driving record.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

Schedules sublet repairs, coordinating repairs with Production Manager;
Monitors credit memos ensuring accurate vendor credit invoices;
Aids Support Center in reconciling vendor statements;
Orders all parts as reflected on the repair order;
Negotiates repair times on damaged parts with vendors;
Inspects all parts and mirror-matches for accuracy and damage;
Reconciles repair orders ensuring all parts ordered are on the final repair order and installed;
Manages and develops Parts Clerks as needed; and
Performs other related duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Knowledge of automotive parts, including nomenclature and application;
Skill in analyzing and interpreting financial data;
Computer and organizational skills;
Effective written and verbal communication skills;
Ability to assume responsibility for accuracy and timeliness of production;
Ability to negotiate;
Ability to supervise personnel as needed; and
Establish and maintain working relationships with co-workers and management.
