Specific Job Responsibilities:
The Y-12 National Security Complex is currently recruiting for summer 2020 internship opportunities in Enterprise Risk Management (ERM). This position will assist in leading strategic and tactical risk integration efforts across a broad and diverse set of programs, operations and functional organizations. In doing this, will help design and implement processes and solutions from current and emerging technologies for risk data visualization, analysis, and trending; communicating to various customers to enable informed decision making. Will assist in the creation of metrics that will be used for internal ERM use and ensure risk data quality. The Internship Program is a 10-12 week program that offers challenging assignments and projects and career development workshops to enhance your professional growth. You will also earn a competitive salary based on your discipline and academic class status.
The dates of the internship is June 1 - August 6, 2020.
The internship position will remain open until all candidates have been identified.
Specific Job Knowledge & Training Required:
To be considered for the ERM intern position, applicants must be working toward or have completed a technical degree. Applicants must have at a minimum completed their sophomore year in college, have an overall GPA (grade point average) of 2.8 or above, and be a United States Citizen. College graduates are eligible up to one year post graduation.

Y-12 is a drug-free workplace. Candidates accepting a job offer will be required to pass a pre-placement physical, drug screening and background investigation. As an employee, you must also be able to receive and maintain a security clearance from the United States Department of Energy in order to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information or matter.
